David McMahon Jnr was born in 1979 and lives on the very outskirts of Glasgow, UK, but not far enough that taxi drivers can get away with trying to make him pay a boundary charge.  Originally a song writer, he switched his efforts to fiction writing when most of his musician friends grew up and made progress with families and careers, and it became obvious that playing loud guitars late at night was completely unacceptable.

In June 2019 his short story 'Golden Lights' was published in Scottish science fiction magazine Mycelia, and he is currently labouring to finish his first novel 'Boxhead'.
